Kuwait court jails two women for raping man

KUWAIT CITY -- A Kuwaiti court has sentenced two women to seven years in jail each for kidnapping a man and forcing him to have sex with them, a local daily reported.

The two women were convicted of raping the man by forcing him to have sex against his will, Al-Rai newspaper said, without providing their names or that of their victim.

They were also found guilty of beating the man, who filed a medical report to the court.

The daily said that a lower court had initially sentenced the two women to 15 years in jail each, but the appeals court reduced the sentence to seven years.

The two women denied the charges. They have the right to appeal against the sentence to the Cassation Court whose rulings are final.

Women who falsely cry rape could be named and shamed by judges

By Frances Gibb, Legal Editor
The Times (London)
March 10, 2007

Women who make repeated false accusations of rape could be named in future.

Ministers are looking at giving the Court of Appeal the power to remove the anonymity of serial rape accusers when cases involving them come before judges, The Times has learnt.

The idea of a power to lift a complainant"s anonymity, to be used only in exceptional cases, comes after a case last autumn in which a man"s conviction for sexual assault was quashed as unsafe and his accuser, dubbed a "serial and repeated liar", was named in the Commons.

But the Solicitor-General, Mike O'Brien, who has been master-minding the proposed reforms, told The Times: "The Government has no plans to remove anonymity for complainants in the vast majority of cases."

He insisted: "We are very concerned that if we did it would deter victims from coming forward — and we will do nothing to undermine that because a lot of progress has been made in that area."

He also emphasised that no final decision had been taken.

However, ministers are looking at a very restricted power that might be used where it would be in the "interests of justice" to lift anonymity in the case of a repeat complainant whose allegations were found to be unsubstantiated and the conviction quashed by the Court of Appeal.

At the same time, ministers have backed away from controversial plans to create a new statutory definition of "capacity to consent" to boost the conviction rate where a victim has been drinking.

Instead, after strong criticism from judges and lawyers, they are putting any changes on hold pending an appeal in the courts in two weeks" time in which judges are expected to set out guidance about how courts should deal with consent in drink cases.

Any changes would then be tethered to what the Court of Appeal judges say. But these would almost certainly exclude a new statutory definition of consent after widespread condemnation of the plan this year by the Council of Circuit Judges.

The moves come as lawyers and women"s groups meet at separate conferences today to debate proposed reforms.

Women Against Rape, holding a conference in London on rape and domestic violence today, is strongly opposed to lifting a complainant"s anonymity.

In a recent letter to the Attorney-General, Lord Goldsmith, QC, signed by some 50 groups and individuals, the organisation criticised as a "deeply retrograde step" the case last autumn. It added that it was "part of the creation of a social and legal climate in which women who report rape can regularly be discredited and even prosecuted, discouraging women from coming forward".

The group points to the falling conviction rate in rape cases — about 5.7 per cent of all reported cases — saying that it is "so low that men who are convicted consider themselves not guilty but unlucky".

The Criminal Bar Association, representing 4,000 barristers, holds a seminar today on the law on rape. It is strongly against most of the proposals, saying there is no need for a new definition of consent to make clear when a woman is too drunk to say "no".

Woman Burns Penis of Dozing Ex-Spouse

MOSCOW -- A woman in southeastern Moscow set fire to her former husband's penis while he lay helpless in an alcohol-induced slumber, a police spokeswoman said Tuesday.

The 41-year-old woman faces up to three years in prison if charged and convicted of deliberately inflicting the injuries, said Tatyana Korolyova, a spokeswoman for police in the city's Southeastern Administrative District.

The woman, whom police would only identify by her first name, Anna, was detained a few hours after the incident Thursday at the apartment that she shares with her former husband, Nikolai.

Korolyova described the police version of events: On Thursday, Nikolai, bedridden after a car crash that left him with a broken heel, asked Anna to fetch a bottle of vodka from the kiosk. She returned with the vodka, which he proceeded to drink in front of the television. A combination of the heat and the alcohol quickly lulled Nikolai to sleep.

Choosing her moment, Anna approached, doused Nikolai with alcohol from head to toe, and attempted to set him on fire with a match. Her attempt failed because the alcohol had evaporated by the time she lit the match.

She then fashioned a rudimentary torch from a newspaper, set fire to it and applied it to his groin.

Nikolai was admitted to the hospital with light burns covering 30 percent of his body, including his groin, stomach and left arm. He was released after a few days.

The couple had been living together for 19 years but divorced in 2003 after Anna grew tired of Nikolai's extramarital affairs, the Tvoi Den newspaper reported Tuesday, identifying the couple as Irina and Dmitry.

The attack climaxed three years of acrimonious enforced co-habitation. The couple continued to share a small flat after their divorce, something common in Russia where property costs are very high.

The former husband regularly watched erotic films on television, which stirred Anna's fury, and he fell asleep in front of one such film Thursday.

"It was monstrously painful," Nikolai told the newspaper. "I don't know what I did to deserve such punishment."

The newspaper carried pictures of a shaven-headed man lying heavily bandaged in a hospital bed.

"His sex organs took the heaviest blow," an unidentified hospital nurse was quoted as saying.

Police: Woman Stabs Husband During Sex
Couple Were In Process Of Divorcing

Aug. 23, 2007

GILBERT, Ariz. -- Police have accused a 23-year-old Gilbert woman of trying to kill her estranged husband by stabbing him in the chest with a kitchen knife while they were having sex, Phoenix television station KPHO reported.

Gilbert police said Falon Gonzales and her husband, 26-year-old Juan Carlos Gonzales, were having marital problems. The pair was separated and Juan Gonzales had filed for divorce last month.

Police said Falon Gonzales stabbed her husband in his home on Tuesday, then fled the scene.

Juan Gonzales went to a neighbor's house for help. He was taken to a Scottsdale hospital in serious condition with a collapsed lung.

Police said they found Falon Gonzales in a home about two miles away. She was taken to a Gilbert hospital with a hand laceration.

Falon Gonzales told officers Juan Gonzales had left the home one month ago and ended their marriage.

Police said she received a telephone call from Gonzales on Tuesday morning requesting she meet him at their home to have the home appraised.

Woman fined for biting man's penis

Published: 14th November 2007
Online: http://www.thelocal.se/9093/

A 22-year-old woman has been found guilty of biting a man's penis at a fast-food outlet in Falköping in March.

The incident occurred after the woman approached the man and asked him several times if he would like her to perform oral sex on him. The pair were not acquainted and the man declined the offer. He then kept trying to reason with her as he turned his body away from her advances.

But the woman would not take no for an answer. Catching the man off guard, she pulled his trousers down and sank her teeth into one side of his penis. She then scratched him in the face.

The woman admitted to Skaraborg District Court that she had been very much under the influence of alcohol and did not remember having set foot in the fast-food restaurant.

The court found the 22-year-old guilty of assault and sexual harassment. She was given a suspended sentence, fined 80 days' wages and ordered to pay the man 11,600 kronor in damages.

The court said it found the man's story credible, partly because it was so unusual that the judges did not believe he had made it up. His version of events was also supported by a witness. Photographs and a doctor's note provided further evidence of the injuries he had sustained.

French pensioner jailed for castrating partner

Received Thursday, 1 May 2008

LAON, France, May 1, 2008 (AFP) — A 64-year-old Frenchwoman has been handed a 12-year jail sentence for castrating her partner while he was unconscious and then blaming her pet dog, officials said Thursday.

The victim, aged 39, was rushed to hospital in northern France in June 2005 with his penis sliced off.

His partner called the ambulance herself, saying the dog had bitten off and eaten his genitals.

Knocked out after taking a cocktail of alcohol and medicine, the man had no recollection of the incident. Seriously traumatised, he is currently in a psychiatric hospital.

Police never recovered either a weapon or the missing body part.

Woman held for raping man in Stockholm

Published: 27 May 2008
Online: http://www.thelocal.se/12046/

A 41-year-old woman in being held by police in Stockholm on suspicions of raping a 30-year-old man who went home with her after the two met at an area pub on Monday night.

According to police, the two were hungry and under the influence of alcohol as they made their way home from the bar.

"She invited him up for a little midnight snack," Towe Hägg of the Stockholm police told The Local.

Once getting the man up to her place, the woman began to make sexual advances toward the man, which he resisted.

"We don"t know if it was a "no" or if it was more than a "no"," said Hägg.

After the man refused to have sex with the woman, she then performed oral sex on him against his will, according to the Aftonbladet newspaper.

The man called police the next morning to report that he was raped.

The woman remains in police custody while prosecutors determine whether or not to file formal charges.

Men seek help for female sex abuse

19 June 2008
Online: http://www.thelocal.se/12544/

More and more men are seeking professional help to assist them in coming to terms with the sexual abuse they have experienced at the hands of women.

The rise in the sex abuse of males carried out by women has been noticed by the 'Swedish Organization against Sexual Abuse, Hopp, which helps victims of sexual abuse and assault.

Despite this development, official reports of men who have been abused by a female perpetrator are still very rare, which may in part be due to the large numbers of men who choose to remain silent about their plight.

The men seeking therapeutic help are often extremely ashamed of their situation, Hopp psychotherapist Lena Lindblom told Sveriges Radio.

"We receive emails or calls from men and many are incredibly ashamed and feel utterly degraded."

"80 percent of men who have experienced sexual abuse have been abused by a female, most often by their mother."

Hopp estimates that about a quarter of those they help today are men, a figure which does not match up with current crime statistics.

Although there has been an increase in female offenders, only 2 percent of registered sexual assaults or abuse have been carried out by women.

Karolinska Institutet's sex crime researcher Niklas Långström told Sveriges Radio that he was not surprised by the figures presented by Hopp.

"Yes, it could me more common than we believe. There could be a lot of hush hush and it could well be that maybe 10-15 percent of all people who have carried out sexually offensive actions may be women or girls."

Långström also argues that society has a hard time seeing women as sexual predators.

"People either cannot or do not want to admit that women are also capable of this type of offence."

Ugandan woman held over cut penis
Thursday, 3rd July, 2008

The woman, who is suspected to have cut off the penis of a man for allegedly defiling her daughter, has been arrested.

Abdulkarim Ssengendo and Fred Turyakira report that on June 28, Angelina Kyomugisha, a resident of Rubaya sub-county in Mbarara district, allegedly chopped off Geoffrey Mugarura"s penis, saying she had caught him red-handed defiling her 10-year old last born.

The district crime chief, Jackson Tumwiine, said on Wednesday that they picked up Kyomugisha from her home in Rugyerera village.

He condemned the act, saying it was unlawful, adding that she would be charged with unlawful wounding of a person.

Meanwhile, the assault case has taken a new twist.

Tumwiine said a doctor"s report had indicated that the girl"s hymen was found intact and healthy, meaning Mugarura might not have defiled the girl.

But Tumwiine said they had interviewed several people and investigations were progressing well.

Dog-cloner denies she was Mormon sex kidnapper Joyce McKinney

Image
Bernann McKinney (top) has denied she was previously known as Joyce McKinney, who was accused of sexual assault and kidnap

Leo Lewis and Ben Quinn

The woman who had her pet dog cloned by South Korean scientists flatly denied early today that she was a bail abscondee accused of sexually assaulting and kidnapping a male Mormon missionary more than 30 years ago in Surrey.

Rumours have been circulating about the true identity of Bernann McKinney, who this week appeared in Seoul with her five cloned pit bull puppies. She and her dogs have featured in publications around the world since the ground-breaking procedure.

Ms McKinney, who said that she lived in Hollywood, California, denied to The Times this morning that she was actually Joyce McKinney, who was charged at Epsom Magistrates" Court in 1977 with false imprisonment.

The story of Joyce McKinney is nothing if it is not larger than life. She was accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting the 17-stone Kirk Anderson, a Mormon missionary, who had become the object of her passionate affections.

After a brief affair in the United States, Joyce McKinney, then 28, seems to have tracked Mr Anderson, then 19, to Ewell in Surrey, where he had been posted for two years as a door-to-door Mormon missionary.

With the help of a friend she is alleged to have kidnapped him and chained him to a bed in a remote cottage. After apparently failing to persuade him to marry her and father her children she then seems to have forced him to have sex with her. He finally escaped and she was arrested.

During a subsequent court appearance Joyce McKinney, is reputed to have said: "I loved him so much that I would ski naked down Mount Everest with a carnation up my nose if he asked me to."

During another court hearing her counsel said of Mr Anderson: "Methinks the Mormon doth protest too much . . . you have seen the size of Mr Anderson and you have seen the size of my client."

After three months on remand in Holloway Prison she was released on bail because of failing mental health. She then fled the country using a false passport. True to fashion or the hyperbole of a remarkable story She seems to have disguised herself as a nun for several months and disappeared into the Appalachian Mountains.

She was tracked down and appeared topless in glamour magazines before the authorities caught up with her. Britain never attempted to extradite her to stand trial.

This morning from Seoul as she prepared for a television interview Bernann McKinney flatly denied that she was the mysterious Joyce McKinney. "That"s garbage, that"s rot," she said. "If that is what you want to talk about then I don"t want to talk to you. If you print that rot I will sue you."

During the 1977-78 court case it was claimed that Joyce McKinney had, with the help of her friend, confronted Mr Anderson on the steps of Ewell"s Church of the Latter Day Saints and frogmarched him to a car where he was subdued with chloroform. They then appear to have driven him 200 miles to a rented 17th century cottage in Okehampton, Devon.

To add further mystery and zing to the whole story, Mr Anderson was said to have been wearing a Mormon chastity belt at the time. Joyce McKinney is also said to have read him religious texts and played him romantic tapes before sexually stimulating him. In her defence, she claimed that it was a bondage game played with his full consent. Legend has it that after he eventually promised to marry her she loosened his chains and he then escaped.

Now she has her pit bull cloned. But once she manacled a Mormon for sex
Beauty queen who fled UK while on bail resurfaces with her five puppies

* Ian Cobain
* The Guardian,
* Friday August 8 2008

Utter the name Joyce McKinney to Britons of a certain age, and you are inevitably rewarded with the briefest flash of incomprehension, followed by a gasp as their memories take them tumbling back to the dark days of early autumn, 1977.

It was a miserable time: there were clashes on the picket line at Grunwick, inflation was sprinting away at 13%, Elvis had just died and a band called Baccara were at Number One with Yes Sir, I Can Boogie. And then, as if to lift the spirits of a nation, along came the most unlikely, the most baffling, the most downright weird news story.

A Mormon missionary from Utah called Kirk Anderson, who was going door-to-door in Ewell, Surrey, was kidnapped at gunpoint by McKinney, a former cheerleader and beauty queen from North Carolina. With the help of a friend, Keith May, McKinney drugged Anderson with chloroform and drove him to a rented 17th century cottage near Okehampton, Devon. There the unfortunate young man was chained, spreadeagled, to a bed, with several pairs of mink-lined handcuffs, and over the next few days he was repeatedly required to have sex with McKinney, who later explained that she had been keen to bear his child.

Eventually the missionary wriggled free, dashed from the cottage and alerted police, who set up roadblocks around Okehampton, capturing both beauty queen and friend. The pair were charged with false imprisonment and possession of an imitation .38 revolver, and brought before Epsom magistrates.

McKinney explained at the commital proceedings that she had fallen head over heels for Anderson when they were at college together in Utah, adding: "I loved him so much that I would ski naked down Mount Everest in the nude with a carnation up my nose if he asked me to." She had hired a private detective, tracked Anderson down and came to Britain with May.

Tabloid dream

It was a tabloid dream. Mormon Sex Slave Case, screeched the Daily Mail. McKinney and the Manacled Mormon, yelled the Mirror. Even the Guardian got in on the act with the only-slightly more coy: Missionary was "shackled for sex". McKinney's counsel told the magistrates that "methinks the Mormon do protest too much".

McKinney was remanded in custody at Holloway prison, north London, pending the full trial but released on bail three months later because of her failing mental health. May was also bailed and at this point they fled to Canada disguised asmime artists.

And that, perhaps, should have been the end of the matter.

But then last Tuesday, courtesy of the Associated Press news agency, came the delightful story of one "Bernann" McKinney, whose pet dog Booger the pit bull terrier had been successfully cloned by a team of South Korean scientists.

Announcing that she planned to give her identical pets the names Booger McKinney, Booger Lee, Booger Ra, Booger Hong and Booger Park, in honour of the team at Seoul National University that carried out the work, a delighted McKinney could be seen beaming from several news websites and newspapers, including the Guardian. And some of a certain age beamed back, thinking: "Ohmygawd!"

A simple check of public records in North Carolina yesterday confirmed that Joyce and "Bernann" are, indeed, one and the same person, and that the predatory beauty queen of 1977 has matured into the pit bull-loving 57-year-old of 2008.

The years have not been particularly kind to McKinney. She has put on a little weight (haven't we all?) and has used a wheelchair for more than a decade. After crossing the border from Canada she travelled to Atlanta, Georgia, where she went into hiding, disguised as a nun, according to some accounts. Then she returned to the tiny town of Minneapolis on the North Carolina-Tennessee border, where her parents had been schoolteachers, and moved on to her late grandparents' wooden farmhouse.

There were to be a few more scrapes with the law. In 1984 she was arrested after Anderson spotted her loitering near his place of work in Salt Lake City. When the police searched the boot of her car they found a length of rope and a pair of handcuffs, but charges against her were dropped after she once again jumped bail.

In 1993 she broke into a dog pound in Johnson City, Tennessee, to rescue a pit bull terrier that was about to be put down for mauling a couple of joggers. This raises the possibility that the Booger brothers, so skillfully cloned in Seoul, are exact replicas of a dog that once faced the death penalty because of its attacks on humans. But, as McKinney explained after the break-in: "I love those pit bulls. They're such sympathetic animals - they're my kind of dog."

Lawless

Minneapolis is in the heart of the southern Appalachians, the tough and somewhat lawless mountainous region that was the setting for the Burt Reynolds film Deliverance. Even here, however, some men say they are wary of her, and caution visitors not to stray on to her land, warning that they could be attacked by her pit bulls.

Anderson himself married after returning to Utah, and found work as a travel agent in the small town of Orem.

And by and large, McKinney has also led a blameless life over the past three decades. She could not be contacted for comment yesterday, but when a British reporter tracked her down and spoke to her nine years ago she said: "Now everybody understands, and they know what it means to have the paparazzi chasing around after you. I cried all night when Diana died. I may be just an ol' farm girl, but I've hit that wall with her. Everywhere I go, people will always remember me as a woman who did the unthinkable. Just try to imagine what that feels like."

In theory, however, McKinney remains a fugitive from British justice, and after breaking her cover to hail the success of the scientists in Soeul, could face extradition to stand trial back at Epsom.

Is this possible? We asked Scotland Yard. The young woman - clearly too young - who answered the call, listened patiently for a few minutes. "I'm sorry," she said finally. "I haven't a clue what you're talking about."

Court grants injunction to stop woman cutting off man's penis
Article from: The Daily Telegraph, Australia

August 15, 2008

Image
THE frightened man ... Tony Goodchild outside court.

A man was yesterday granted a court injunction to stop a woman trying to cut off his penis. Tony Goodchild was granted the domestic violence order against his former girlfriend.

He told Darwin Magistrates Court the woman was trying to hunt him down and threatening to "cut his penis off''. The unusual application caused laughter in the courtroom.

But the Northern Territory News reported Mr Goodchild -- who was shaking and carrying two backpacks during the hearing -- said he had been in hiding in the long grass from his ex since she had "bashed'' him up.

"I'm pretty scared,'' he said. Mr Goodchild (pictured leaving the court with his DVO) told the court he went out with her for four years.

Magistrate Greg Cavanagh made him take an oath in court on the Bible to swear he was telling the truth. "You didn't make it up?'' the magistrate asked.

"No,'' Mr Goodchild said.

Mr Cavanagh told Mr Goodchild he could only grant an interim domestic violence order -- preventing his ex-girlfriend from approaching or threatening him -- as she was not in court to answer to the case.

Mr Cavanagh adjourned the case for two weeks to give NT police time to serve her with the order.

Mr Goodchild thanked the magistrate and quickly left the courthouse, still clutching the order to his chest as he walked through Darwin's CBD.

Bucks party stripper 'raped best man'
AAP
September 8, 2008

Hired stripper Linda Naggs allegedly assaulted the best man at a bucks party with a sex toy.

A buck's party stripper raped the best man with a sex toy before swinging a punch at him and threatening to call her bikie mates, a Melbourne court has heard.

Linda Naggs, 39, of Rosebud, is accused of sexually penetrating the man with a dildo after she turned to him when the groom decided he did not want to be part of the show. Naggs entered the party on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula in September last year cracking a whip and performed an act for the groom before moving on to the best man, a witness told Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday.

The alleged victim's brother said the best man had his top off and pants half down when Naggs began riding him like "a dog or a horse". He said he heard his brother tell Naggs "don't put it in" before he squinted and jolted.

Naggs then became a "little bit hysterical" and onlookers were trying to calm her down when his brother became angry and told her to leave, he said. Another witness said the alleged victim, who cannot be named, was cheered on by a crowd of up to 30 men.

The man appeared reluctant to take part and a naked Naggs forced him to his knees and "pulsated" him with the sex toy which she was wearing, he said. Naggs wore a "cheeky smile" throughout the incident but the alleged victim turned red in the face and screamed at her.

"He said: 'Why'd you do that for? You didn't have to do that'," the witness said. The alleged victim pushed Naggs in the chest and she responded with a punch but missed, the witness said. Party-goers intervened to keep the pair apart, he said. The alleged victim's brother told the court Naggs threatened to call her "bikie mates".

He said that before the incident, onlookers had been cheering in a "mature way" and urging the alleged victim to "c'mon". "It wasn't over the top rowdy or aggressive," he said. He said his brother was "very conservative" but appeared to be happy and smiling before the incident.

Naggs - who was part of an entertainment line-up that included another stripper and topless waitresses - has been charged with one count of rape. Her committal hearing before Magistrate Elizabeth Lambden continues.

Ontario-wide strategy needed for male sex abuse victims, inquiry told
February 27, 2009

CORNWALL, Ont. — Male victims of childhood sexual abuse need specialized support services and a provincial ombudsman dedicated to their plight, the Cornwall inquiry heard Friday as the $40-million probe drew to a close after three years of testimony.

The inquiry, established to examine institutional responses to allegations of sexual abuse in eastern Ontario, spent the majority of its final week hearing submissions dealing with allegations that a pedophile clan operated with impunity in the city for decades.

Lawyers at the inquiry cast the clan stories as fabrications spread by a misguided police officer and embraced by a panic-stricken community.

On Friday, the submissions focused on healing and reconciliation for the community and victims.

Following a complaint in 1992 that a former altar boy had been sexually abused by a priest and a probation officer, many others came forward to allege they had also been abused by prominent people decades ago. Many of those complainants were men, and a lawyer for the counselling group The Men's Project said even though there were a lot of community services in the city at the time, none could adequately handle men's counselling.

"In fact, they had to bring in my client from Ottawa because they were the only ones with expertise to deal with this," David Bennett told the inquiry. Even though there were existing social services they just weren't able to deal with it and (that's) why there needs to be a specialized area."

Both The Men's Project and the Victims Group urged the commissioner to recommend that the Ontario government create victim treatment service centres for male survivors of sexual abuse provincewide. Both groups also called for the province to create a sex abuse ombudsman.

"There has been a theme from survivors of not being believed, getting the run-around, being kept in the dark, which for some had the effect of re-victimization," the Men's Project said in its written submissions. "An ombudsman could rectify this."

In addition, the government needs to remedy how treatment for sexual abuse victims is funded, the Men's Project said. Currently, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care assumes funding for recent sexual assault, but a year after the assault service is often refused and the person is referred to community services run by the Ministry of the Attorney General, the Men's Project said.

"Sexual abuse victims, either male or female, experience post-traumatic stress issues that can only be defined as complex, potentially disabling and requiring specialized treatment," the group said, in recommending the Health Ministry take responsibility for treatment funding.

The Men's Project said given the economic downturn they are worried the government will not have the resources to fund male sex abuse services. But it's too important not to, the group said. "To not deal with this issue, to not meet it head on, not to implement these types of recommendations will cost the citizens of this province a great deal more," Bennett said.

The group Citizens for Community Renewal also pushed in their submissions for an apology to sex abuse victims and all citizens of Cornwall from the local bishop, the mayor and the premier.

Speaking in Amherstburg, Ont., on Friday, Premier Dalton McGuinty said he wouldn't comment until he has seen what Commissioner G. Normand Glaude has to say. "I should wait for the report (and) see what recommendations flow from that," McGuinty said. "Who knows, the report itself may even speak to that kind of a request."

A school resource officer program that has seen police officers in 22 high schools in Toronto should be extended throughout Ontario, the Cornwall Police Service said. It has been successful and would foster communication between police and youth, Cornwall Police Chief Dan Parkinson said after the inquiry.

"It is for young people that they can speak to police officers, that the barrier of fear perhaps is somewhat reduced and police officers in the schools... are able to build those relationships," Parkinson said. The police also recommended a review of privacy legislation and how it impacts sexual abuse investigations. Police are not necessarily able to inform the public of alleged child sexual abuse, lawyer John Callaghan said in an interview.

"We're asking that there be a review, not so that we disregard the other societal values (of right to privacy and presumption of innocence), but take another hard look as to under what circumstances and to make it clear when the police can tell the public about predators in their midst," Callaghan said.

Hairdresser turns robber into sex slave

14 April 2009

Image

A young hairdresser in Kaluga, in central Russia, locked a robber who tried to steal her money in the basement of the beauty salon. After that, she brutally raped her hostage for three days. A court in Kaluga has filed criminal charges against both of them, the Russian website Newsru.com reports.

The robber, who has not been named, burst into the salon armed with shotgun at about 5 pm on March 14. He demanded money. There were two hairdressers and one client in the salon at the time. One of hairdressers, who was studying judo and taekwondo, disabled the robber with a smashing body blow. Then she carried the unlucky robber to the basement and bound him with a hairdryer cord.

The hairdresser told her scared colleague and the client that she would call the police. But she did not. After work, instead of calling the police, she made her hostage undress. The perverted hairdresser forced the hostage to take several Viagra tablets. She chained the unfortunate robber with pink furry wristbands and painfully raped him for the next three days.

After his release, the exhausted robber filed charges against the perverted woman. The frenulum of his penis was torn as a consequence of rape session.

"That"s ridiculous. We had sex just a couple times. I brought him brand new jeans. I fed him every day and gave him one thousand rubles ($25) before his release," the hairdresser said.

In response, she filed charges against the robber.

The robber admitted that the hairdresser really did feed him royally.

"I actually don"t know what will happen to them. But it"s a pity that they could not meet in the cell. They would be a great couple," one of the police officers said.
